Food composting

By composting you can reduce your household waste and create wonderful food for your garden. Between 30-50% of the waste in our bins can be composted including food and garden materials, newspapers, brown paper bags, coffee grounds and tea bags. Composting is an easy process but it does take practice and a little elbow grease. Read on for all the ins and outs of food composting.

Information on food composting was kindly provided by Moreland City Council.
