Janella Purcell has been involved in the wonderful world of organics and whole food virtually since birth and professionally since 1994. Her belief in keeping food free from pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, GMO technology, irradiation and intense processing led her to mainstream media in the hope to educate others on the virtues of keeping it clean and toxin free.
She became a wholefood chef which led to studying and qualifying in Naturopathy, Nutrition and Herbal Medicine (1996) then writing 3 books (so far) on the subjects of ‘Food as Medicine’ and natural therapies including herbal medicine. She believes that we need to be eating foods and taking the appropriate medicine that is as natural and close to its original state as possible.
She continues her career in TV, radio and print media, most recently on ‘Good Chef Bad Chef’, ‘The BIggest Loser’ and ‘Whats Good For You’.
